Houses that are under 10 years old are typically under builder warranty. For this reason we charge a $250 Inspection fee.

Foundation Evaluation

Non-refundable but can be applied as a credit toward repair costs if you choose Level Check Foundation Repair for the work. 

An average inspection typically ranges from 1 to 2 hours in duration. The fee encompasses travel expenses, the time dedicated to the inspection, and the expertise required for a thorough foundation evaluation.


What's included in the inspection fee:

Creation of a house-scale drawing using specialized software.
Exterior inspection with documentation of concerns, including photos and notations of cracks and separations, and identification of utility lines.
Interior elevation readings using a Ziplevel device, with recorded measurements and additional notations for issues like sheetrock cracks or unlevel framing, if present.
A detailed verbal explanation of readings based on engineering standards, accompanied by information on repair plans and an overview of our company's history.
Delivery of a final PDF report containing the diagram, readings, notations, and photos, along with an itemized proposal if repairs are needed. Please note that we do not provide a written report on company letterhead.
